Why parents choose Essentials+
Many families assume that once a UV system or filter is installed, the water must be safe.
In reality, UV and filtration performance depends on the quality of the water passing through it and only removes certain contaminants.
This test is designed to help answer:
- Whether your water characteristics support effective UV treatment
- Whether there are additional indicators worth knowing about for long-term household use (Lead, arsenic, nutrients and more)
- Whether anything subtle, cumulative, or seasonal may be flying under the radar
Itās for parents who want to feel confident, informed, and in control of the water consumed every day.
Who this test is best suited for:
- Families with children, babies, or vulnerable household members
- Households using UV disinfection or multi-stage filtration
- Parents who want to go beyond āit should be fineā
- Anyone who wants to rule out hidden or cumulative issues in one test
- First-time testers who want to do this properly from the start
How families typically use these results
Families commonly use this test to:
- Confirm their UV or filtration system is well-matched to their water
- Understand whether any indicators may need monitoring over time
- Decide whether small system adjustments or maintenance are worthwhile
- Gain confidence that their household water setup is appropriate for everyday use
If results fall within expected ranges, many households simply keep the report as a reference and reassurance tool. If anything unusual appears, the results help guide calm, informed next steps.
