Screen your drinking water for hundreds of pesticides and agricultural chemicals in one simple test.

Product Description

Agricultural chemicals are widely used across Australia for weed control, pest management and crop protection. Trace amounts can sometimes enter water through spray drift, rainfall runoff, groundwater movement, or historic land use.

This can affect a wide range of water sources including rainwater tanks where drift is collect on your home's roof, bores, surface water and, in some cases, even treated mains supply depending on surrounding land use.

“Are there agricultural chemicals in the water my family drinks?”

The Advanced Pesticide Screen provides a comprehensive laboratory assessment for hundreds of pesticides, herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, including modern agricultural chemicals, legacy compounds and their environmental breakdown products.

Testing is performed by NATA-accredited laboratories using advanced analytical methods capable of detecting chemicals at extremely low concentrations.

This analysis is designed to give households a clear understanding of potential agricultural chemical exposure in their drinking water.

What’s Included

This comprehensive pesticide screen analyses for hundreds of pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and their breakdown products.

The test suite includes:

1. Agricultural Herbicides

Common weed control chemicals used in crop production and land management, including compounds such as Atrazine, Diuron, Haloxyfop, Simazine, MCPA and 2,4-D.

2. Insecticides

Chemicals used to control insects in agriculture and pest management, including compounds such as Imidacloprid, Fipronil, Carbofuran, Chlorpyrifos and Phorate.

3. Fungicides

Compounds used to control fungal disease in crops, including chemicals such as Prochloraz, Azoxystrobin, Boscalid and Tebuconazole.

4. Legacy and Persistent Pesticides

Historic chemicals that may persist in soils or sediments long after use has stopped, including compounds such as DDT, Chlordane, Endrin and Heptachlor.

5. Pesticide Metabolites

Breakdown products formed when pesticides degrade in the environment, such as Atrazine-desethyl, Imidacloprid metabolites and Fipronil degradation products.

In total, the screen evaluates hundreds of modern and historical pesticide compounds, covering many of the chemicals used in agriculture, pest control, and land management.
